Help Desk Girl

(Sing to the tune of Billy Joel's "Uptown Girl")

Feb. 22, 2001

Help desk girl
She's been living in her high-tech world
I bet she never wrote a CGI
I bet her c:\ drive never made her cry

I'm gonna try for a help desk girl
She's been living in her high-tech world
As long as anyone with Windows can
And now she's looking for a newbie man

And when she knows what
The error means this time
And when she wakes up
She shows up on time

She'll see that I'm not so dumb
Just because
I'm in love with a help desk girl
You know I've seen her in her high-tech world
She's getting tired of her PC toys
And all her presents from her programmer boys
She's got a choice

Help desk girl
I can't afford to buy her a PDA
But maybe someday when the shipment comes in
She'll see what kind of guy I've been
And then I'll win

And she's working
She's looking so fine
And when she's talking
She'll say "What's the problem this time?"

She'll say I'm not so dumb
Just because
I'm in love
With a help desk girl
She's been living in her high-tech world
As long as anyone with Windows can
And now she's looking for a newbie man
That's what I am

Help desk girl
She's my help desk girl
You know I'm in love
With a help desk girl

My help desk girl
You know I'm in love
With a help desk girl
My help desk girl
You know I'm in love
With a help desk girl
My help desk girl
